Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Set aside for 15 minutes.

In a bowl, combine flour and cornstarch.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the chicken wings until golden brown. Do this in batches to avoid overcrowding. Remove from oil and drain.
